Hydraulic Hoses Are Prone To Failure During Use
Hydraulic hoses are prone to some problems during use, but some friends don’t know what the reason is, let me tell you below.
1. Under frequent, violent pressure shocks. The hydraulic hose assembly showed a burst condition, not caused by receiving too much static pressure, but related to the violent level and number of times of pressure shock. When the construction machinery is in operation, the hydraulic hose assembly will repeatedly show a sudden increase or decrease in oil pressure, and then it will form frequent pressure shocks to the oil pipe, which will lead to increased oil seal damage in all parts, high-pressure hoses will blister and break, and the pipe Loose and leaky joints. Therefore, during operation, the valve rod must not be pulled too hard, as it will be distorted.
2. The temperature of the hydraulic oil is too high. During the operation of construction machinery, the hydraulic system burns hydraulic oil due to power loss, and the influence of external air temperature (especially in hot days) can cause the oil temperature to rise sharply. The higher the operating temperature of the oil, the more easily the rubber ages, the elasticity becomes worse, the strength and sealing function decrease, and the high-pressure hose will burst quickly. Therefore, in operation, when the temperature rise of the hydraulic system is too high or too fast, the cause should be identified in real time and removed; in summer operation, especially for long-term operation, cooling measures should be taken during operation.
3. The selection and installation of hydraulic hose assembly is unreasonable. When replacing the hydraulic hose, the length of the hydraulic hose, the number of wire layers, the shape and size of the joint must be reasonable, and the bending level of the high-pressure hose should be minimized; when tightening the nut of the joint, do not distort the high-pressure hose and make it too large. The bending and distortion of the hydraulic hose will greatly reduce the service life of the hydraulic hose; protection measures should be applied to some areas where friction easily occurs, to avoid the hydraulic hose from affecting the steel wire layer due to wear and tear. Furthermore, due to the erosion of the steel wire, the wear caused by the thinning causes a reduction in the force and the burst is induced.
The above are the easy failures of the hydraulic hose in the unreasonable operation; if the quality is guaranteed, if the application is not correct, the service life of the high-pressure hose will be greatly shortened. In practical tasks, a large part of the damage of hydraulic hoses is due to poor application.
