Jackhammer air hose is cost-effective with a high visibility. Smooth cover offers users an alternative to heavier duty air hose. It has an EPDM tube and cover which provides limited resistance to oil and abuse. So it is more suited for contractor use where oil exposure is limited. For example, in irrigation blow out or other air applications where little or no oil is used to lubricate tools. However, the EPDM does provide excellent resistance to heat, ozone, and weather. Heavy duty air hose that serves in mine and drilling are subject to a range of elements and factors that will degrade the hose. Thus you should consider the life expectency, frequency, and type of elements the hose will be subject too. Generally, a higher cost heavy duty air hose will be much resistant to pressures, heat, oil, and abuse.
