Where do you use a pneumatic hose
Food grade hose is the necessary material in food processing. In such field, food hose is used to deliver various food like milk, jam, beer and juice. We can say food pipe guarantee the stable operation of the food processing. But you should focus on some factors of the hose during use.
Precautions for using food grade hose
Pressure
1. Always use food grade hoses within the recommended temperature and pressure range.
2. Food-grade hoses expand and contract with their internal pressure. Therefore, please cut the hose to a length slightly longer than you need.
3. When applying pressure, open or close the valve slowly. Because opening the valve quickly will cause a huge impact force on the pipe wall. Then this will cause damage to the hose. In another hand, this will reduce the service life.
4. Do not use it at a pressure higher than the rated pressure of the food grade hose.
Bending
1. Please use food-grade hoses under conditions that are more than 4 times their minimum bending radius. If the bending radius is less than the min bending radius, the food-grade hose will break and reduce the pressure resistance.
2. When using powders and granules, it may be easy to wear depending on the conditions. Therefore, please increase the bending radius of the food-grade hose as much as possible.
3. Do not use it in a state where the edges of metal parts are extremely bent.
