EPDM rubber hose is a pipe which takes EPDM as raw material. EPDM mainly contains ethylene, propylene and non-conjugated dienes, and is a copolymer rubber. This rubber hose has many advantages and application fields.
High cost performance
The raw rubber density of EPDM rubber hose is small, and its weight is light at the same volume. In addition, due to its chemical structure characteristics, a certain amount of oil or other fillers can be added to the material during the production process, and these fillers have basically no negative impact on the performance of EPDM rubber, making it more economical in terms of cost.
Excellent temperature resistance
Its max temperature resistance can reach 120℃. This means that it can work normally for a long time in this temperature range, or work in an environment exceeding this range for a short time or intermittently. This feature makes it particularly suitable for application scenarios such as automotive heating ducts.
Good corrosion resistance
It is a non-polar rubber with low saturation. Therefore, it has strong tolerance to various acids and alkalis, animal and vegetable oils, refrigerants, etc. It is suitable for conveying weak acids and alkalis, refrigerants and other materials.
