Synthetic Rubber
Synthetic rubber is by far the most prevalent material for hydraulic hoses. It’s used for both the inner tube and the outer cover. Among the synthetic rubbers, NBR and EPDM are the most commonly employed. NBR stands out for its excellent oil and corrosion resistance. This makes it an ideal choice for the inner tube, as it often comes into direct contact with oils in hydraulic systems. On the other hand, EPDM excels in wear, aging, and weather resistance.
