Determine the working pressure
Understand the maximum working pressure required for your system and select a hose rated higher than this value. Typically, the burst pressure of the hose should be at least three to four times the max working pressure.
Media compatibility
Make sure the selected hose material is compatible with the gas or liquid (such as compressed air, water, oil, etc.) to be transported. For example, some hoses may not be suitable for conveying corrosive or special chemicals.
Appropriate size
Select the appropriate inner diameter based on the flow requirements. Too small an inner diameter will increase pressure drop and affect efficiency. Too large an inner diameter may result in higher costs and inconvenience in installation. At the same time, the outer diameter also needs to be considered to ensure that the hose can adapt to existing fittings and accessories.
Environmental conditions
