How to distinguish the quality of steel wire hose
After using the layflat fire hose, proper recycling keeps it in good condition for future use. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Pull Back One End of the Fire Hose
First, after deploying the hose, quickly pull back one end. This removes excess water and straightens the hose, making it easier to roll.
Step 2: Align the Two Fire Hose Interfaces
Next, position the two hose joints so they’re 10 to 20 centimeters apart. This alignment ensures even rolling later.
Step 3: Start Rolling the Fire Hose from the Middle
Use both hands to grab the middle part of the layflat fire hose. Use your finger strength to roll the hose forward tightly. Keep rolling until the hose roll reaches a radius of about 10 centimeters.
Step 4: Finish Rolling with a Support Point
Once the roll is 10 centimeters in radius, switch your technique. Use your left hand as a support point. With your right hand, grab both sides of the hose and push forward in a clockwise direction. Keep doing this until the entire layflat fire hose is rolled up.
Note: If the hose knots while rolling, use your foot to pull the lower part of the hose apart. This fixes the knot and speeds up the recycling process.
