PVC Pneumatic Hose is used to deliver pressurized air to actuators, valves, tools and other equipment.
A variety of materials are used to manufacture PVC Pneumatic Hoses. Here are the two most common materials:
Polyurethane is a popular material choice because it is very strong, flexible and resistant to abrasion and kinking. It is also strong enough to handle contact with oil and fuel. This material is commonly used in vacuum equipment, medical and laboratory settings, semiconductor manufacturing, and pneumatic drive systems.Polyurethane is strong, flexible, and has an excellent kink resistance compared to other material types. It has a working pressure of 150 psi or higher and is the most commonly used hose material. It sometimes has UV resistance as an option for outdoor use.

Nylon is used as the material for the hose because it is relatively light, yet dimensionally stable and tough. In applications where high pressure resistance is important, hoses made of nylon is often chosen. It also provides greater flexibility to pass through tight spaces, low water absorption and high resistance to bending fatigue.Nylon is a harder plastic and is less flexible, making this a a good choice for air distribution and straight run piping applications.
Notable advantages of nylon are its higher working pressure up to 800 psi, and temperature range up to 200℉,and it has excellent chemical resistance.
Our Orientflex extensive product offering includes a wide range of lightweight and flexible pneumatic hoses with calibrated outside diameters, metric and imperial sizes that can be assembled on push-fit or push-fit fittings. Designed for pneumatic, hydraulic, oil and lubrication systems and chemicals. Resistant to hydrolysis, biological corrosion, UV radiation, solvents and cleaning agents. Made of Polyurethane (PU), Nylon (PA) and available in various colors. Also available as multi-tube or helical tubes of different lengths.
