Steam Hose Introduction
Steam hoses are used for cooling equipment cooling water, engine engine hot and cold water, food processing, especially hot water and saturated steam in dairy plants. For hot water and saturated steam, general high pressure rubber hoses do not work well. However, high temperature steam hoses with woven wire reinforcement provide a good solution. It is mainly used to transport steam. The hose is very flexible and resistant to vibration. Transfer the maximum working pressure and saturated steam at 270 PSI and 430 °F (+220 °C).
The steam hose consists of three parts: the inner layer, the outer layer and the reinforcing layer. The tube is made of high quality black smooth synthetic rubber, mainly EPDM, which has high temperature resistance. Therefore, the hose can safely transport steam. The outer layer is made of one or two layers of high-strength and high-strength woven steel wire, which makes the hose structure strong and works well under high pressure. The outer layer is made of high quality EPDM, which makes the hose wear resistant, corrosion resistant, aging, weather resistant, ozone and high temperature. In addition, the hose resists bursting, cracking and breaking even under large pressure differentials and accidental exposure to flame.
Industrial steam hoses are suitable for continuous processing of saturated steam and superheated steam below 150 °C or intermittent delivery below 160 °C. The steam hose we produce is made of high quality rubber. The reinforcement layer of the steam hose is made of woven steel wire and has high heat resistance and high temperature resistance.
