First: Preparation Work
Before you start, complete these key steps. First, select the right hoses and fittings. Make sure their sizes and materials match. Next, clean the surfaces of the hoses and joints to remove dirt and impurities. Doing this upfront helps ensure a high-quality connection.
Threaded Connection Process
Align the threaded part of the hose with the threaded part of the connector. Then, twist the hose until it feels snug. Use a wrench or spanner to tighten it properly—this ensures a secure fit. But be careful not to over-tighten, as this can cause damage.
Clamp Connection Process
Place the clamp over the connection point between the hose and connector. Make sure both the hose and connector are fully seated inside the clamp. Then, use screws to secure the clamp, applying just enough pressure for a tight seal. Avoid using excessive pressure, as this can harm the hose.
Welding Connection Process
First, prepare the joint surfaces of the hose and connector: remove oxides and dirt to create a clean base. Next, choose the right welding material for the job. During welding, heat the joint evenly to ensure proper bonding. Finally, inspect the weld after it cools. Check for cracks or bubbles to confirm a strong seal.
