Weather resistance
The most direct way is to place the PVC pipe in a high-temperature and high-gloss place for a few days and observe the surface change rate. The smaller the surface change, the stronger the weather resistance of the PVC pipe.
Analyze the raw materials
Analyzing the raw material of PVC pipe requires specialized knowledge and equipment. But some simple inference methods are also useful. Compare the weight of two pipes with the same caliber, wall thickness and length. If the PVC hose has a higher weight, the calcium powder and impurity will be too much. And the raw material will be impure. Then we can see it is not a good quality PVC flex hose.
Look at the whiteness and color
If using too much bad and recycled materials during the production process, the finished pipe will turn black and yellow. While this will affect the quality of the flexible plastic hose.
View thickness
According to the pipe diameter rule, check if the wall thickness of the PVC pipe is uniform. If not, the PVC tube is not a good one. Because when working at high pressures, the hose may burst at the thin section.
Take the sample and throw it
If you have high requirements on property, you can hit the PVC pipe hard to check the toughness. A high quality PVC water hose is flexible. Thus if the hose breaks, it means there is too much calcium. Then it is not a good hose.
