What causes bubbles in food-grade silicone hoses?
Raw material problems
One possible cause is impure white carbon black. It might also be mixed with other types of white carbon black.
Coking problems
Another cause is uneven mixing of the rubber compound. Unreasonable filling capacity can also lead to bubbles. Additionally, poor control of debinding temperature and time contributes to the issue.
Solutions
For raw material issues
Choose transparent white carbon black with better purity. Clean the kneader before kneading the transparent rubber.
For coking process issues
Control the kneading temperature and time carefully. Extend the original kneading time by another 5–10 minutes. Then check the glue again.
Food-grade silicone is a high-quality material. It is transparent and stable. It can withstand high temperatures up to 250℃. Even when heated in a sealed environment, its performance does not degrade. What’s more, it is soft and has stable overall performance.
