What is air intake hose
Intake hose is an important part to connect the filter box and throttle. The function of intake hose is to transfer air into the inner of engine, then it mix with the fuel and burn. Working method of intake hose
1. The intake system is generally at the back of engine cover. It can collect air when the car is moving, then transfer it to air filter.
2. After the filtration by air filter, the dust, stone, powder and other fragments will stay in the filter. Then the clean air flow to the engine.
3. Intake hose connect the filter to the throttle body. When the driver press on the accelerator, the valve inside the throttle will open. Then the filtrated air will flow to the divided manifold.
4. The hoses of the intake manifold distribute the clean air to each cylinder, where the air burns with the fuel.
