Bundling method
The bundling method is suitable for emergency repair of rubber hose rupture. While the pressure should be below 16MPa. The specific method is that apply oxygen resin glue to the ruptured part of the soft rubber hose. Then wrap 2-3 layers of oil resistant rubber with a width 2-3 times the length of the ruptured part. And each layer should be coated with glue. After that, use No. 12 iron wire to tie the wound oil resistant rubber and wait for it to solidify.
Bone setting method
The rupture part of the nitrile rubber tube is about to break due to external force or system overload. On such occasion, you can wipe the rupture of the rubber pipe and cut off the rupture part. Then insert the steel “bone” into the cut hose. While in urgent cases, a steel pipe with the same outer diameter as the hose bone diameter can also be used as the “bone”. After that, use a homemade steel plate clamp to clamp the hose and “bone”. Besides, clean the connected hose before use.
Restructuring Law
The pipe joints of each flexible rubber pipe in the hydraulic system are different. Thus it is not suitable to use the “bonding method” for high pressure hoses. While you can use the modification method. Remove the pipe joint of the ruptured hose. Then find a replacement rubber pipe with similar pressure capacity and length to the ruptured hose. After that, saw off its pipe joint. Then, weld the angle of the pipe joint of the ruptured hose to the replacement hose.
