PVC layflat hose is a great tool for agriculture. Because it can deliver large volume of water from a long distance. What’s more, it is a cheap option for farmer. Thus they can use it with large quantity. During the use, some farms said their hoses block. Then what cause layflat hose block?
First of all, the external factors
In the water deliver, there are impurities such as sediment in the water source. Then it is easy to block during use. In addition, the temp and flow velocity also affect the layflat hose. Besides, some impurities that are not easily soluble in water will leave in the tube. Then it cause block.
Second, improper use of the lay flat hose
Some people do not follow the the hose product manual. Then it is very likely that the water in the hose will not be delivered due to improper operation.
Then how to solve such problem
First, you can use the acid fluid to deal with the CaCo2. 0.5% to 2% acid solution can be used to output the hose with a pressure of 1 meter head. While the fluid can stay at the hose for 5-15 seconds.
Second, the pressure dredging method. Flush the drip irrigation system with compressed air or pressure water of 5.05×105～10.1×105 Pa. This is ideal for the sand block. But it’s not ideal for chemicals.
