Appearance
First we look at the hose to make sure the right color according to client’s sample. Then check if there is any colour difference. Next, check the printings to guarantee the words are correct an clear. Last, we check if the inner tube and cover are smooth.
Size and performance
First we check if there is any terrible smell, especially food grade PVC layflat hose. Because it relates to food security and health. Then we check the diameter and wall thickness. While the tolerance should be±0.5mm and±0.1mm accordingly. Hardness is also an important parameter. We use the Shore durometer to test it and make sure the hardness meets the standard.
Next is the weight and length
Test and record the weight according to the contract , then check if the weight and length fit each other. The tolerance of weight should be within±0.25KG.
Pressure and ductility
Test and record the burst pressure and the ductility under the pressure. The burst pressure is at least 3 times of the working pressure. While the ductility should be within 1.5%.
Assembly
The fittings should connected to the hose correctly. Besides, the size and material of fittings should be the same as the contract.
Package
After the tests to hose itself, we check the package. All the factors like box, shipping mark and color card should show the specs clearly and correctly.
