In our last piece, we compared traditional steel pipes with new HDPE pipes for gas station oil delivery. The comparison showed that gas station HDPE pipes are far superior. Now, let’s explore their other advantages.
First, HDPE pipes feature matching double-layer joints. As we noted earlier, petrol station pipework systems use a double-layer structure—and the HDPE pipe joints follow this design too. These joints use the same material as the pipes, giving them an equally long service life. What’s more, each hose fitting has pre-marked welding points. When connecting pipes and joints, you just weld these points—saving a lot of time on installation.
HDPE pipe systems also offer versatile fittings. You can find 45° elbows, 90° elbows, T-shaped fittings, and straight couplings, among others. These let the pipeline system turn directions easily. There are even special fittings to handle complex construction conditions.
HDPE Pipes Cost Less Than Traditional Steel Pipes
Steel pipes come with high upfront costs. They’re also expensive to transport and difficult to install, making the total construction bill very large. In contrast, petrol station HDPE pipes cost much less. They’re easy to transport and install too. This is why they’re gradually replacing steel pipes. In fact, developed countries have already switched from steel pipes to HDPE composite hoses.
Today, gas station HDPE pipes are growing in popularity across China. At Orientflex, we’re a hose manufacturer that supplies this excellent pipe system. Contact us now to get the best quotation.
