What is Teflon lined joint?
Teflon lined joint is based on normal rubber joint or high abrasion resistance EPDM rubber joint, then add a Teflon coat which is mainly white.
What are the characteristics of Teflon lined joint?
- Teflon is a kind of chemical products, which has high purity. It can strengthen the adhesion of coating and then offer the products excellent corrosion and impact resistance.
- The coating has smooth surface, small friction coefficient, good non-adhesion performance and excellent foreign matter adhesion resistance.
- The coat is nontoxic without exudation and will not pollute the medium.
What are the advantages compared with normal joint?
The normal rubber joint has bad performance in resisting the corrosion from some mediums. Besides, rubber, glass and metal are detective in corrosion resistance and it is difficult for them to meet the harsh environment of temperature, pressure and chemical medium, so the lost is amazing.
