In the last piece, I introduced you three methods to connect rubber hose fitting. While this time, let me show you the specific operating process of hose joint.
Before that, you should make some preparation to connect the hose joint
Select proper hoses and fittings and make sure they match the size and material. Besides, clean the surfaces of hoses and joints to remove surface dirt and impurities. Then it can ensure the quality of the connection.
Threaded method operation
Align the threaded part of the hose with the threaded part of the connector. Then turn the hose counterclockwise until the connection is tight. Use a wrench to tighten to ensure a secure connection. But avoid over-tight which may cause damage.
Clamp operation
Place the clamp on the connection between the hose and the connector. And make sure that the hose and connector are fully embedded in the clamp. Then use screws to secure the clamp and apply proper pressure to ensure a tight connection. But you should avoid excessive pressure.
Welding method operation process
Treat the surface on the joints of hoses and joints to remove oxides and dirt. Then carry out welding operations based on the welding materials. During that, ensure that the welding part is heated evenly. Check after welding to ensure that the weld is free of crack and bubble.
