Brake, as the name implies, is a mechanical brake device that can slow down the speed of the car. Simply put, the car brake pedal is under the steering wheel. When the brake pedal is pressed, the brake lever is linked and the pressure is transmitted to the brake pads on the brake drum to clamp the brake wheel, causing the car to slow down or stop running.
For the brake system, the brake hose is a very important component. It transmits the brake medium in the system. Therefore, the condition of the brake hose directly determines the braking effect. Generally speaking, the brake hose is made of rubber. But some brake hoses are made of metal. Rubber hoses have a certain service life and should be replaced in time after a certain period of time. So how to replace the brake hose?
Brake hose replacement steps
1. Remove the screw on the oil pipe to remove the oil pipe from the brake pump. But this will definitely leak some brake oil. Just install it directly when installing it.
2 If the brake feels abnormal after a few times after installation, that is, there is no brake, you need to exhaust the air for a while. Generally, just open the cover of the brake pump, and the piston of the sub-pump escapes repeatedly.
3. Remove the connected oil pipe and remove the sub-pump. The piston should be rotated vertically while being pushed inwards. Once it is in, you can press it all the way in. Install the oil pipe, bleed the air, and it is installed.
