Static
Most of the hydraulic hoses is reinforced with steel wires, which makes the hose a conductor. There may be machine around the electric wires. If the hose is too close to the wire, it will release flammable solution, which can be ignited by static. The static will release electricity through the hose wall. As a result, the hose will burn. Besides, this cause wall thinner and even cause pinholes on the wall. For such occasion, you should ask for non-conductive hydraulic hose.
Heat
High temperature and twist can also reduce the working life. The external heat resource like exhaust hose can soften the hydraulic hose from outside. Therefore, it’s very important for hydraulic to keep away from external heat resource. If the heat is inevitable, take measures to protect the hose. You can use PP spiral guard or silicone sleeve to achieve such purpose.
The heat from the hydraulic oil will also reduce the lifespan. It’s tested that a 10℃ higher temperature than the recommended will reduce 1/2 of the lifespan. This cause it more serious that operator may not know the hydraulic oil has exceeded the recommended temperature, especially when there is intermittent high temperature.
Joint
Use the transit joint discreetly because it cause the parts increase in the assembly. Further cause increases of assembly time, cost and leakage. However, use 90°joints in the both sides of hydraulic hose will simplify the assembly. Pay attention to the direction of joint to avoid twisting the hose during installation.
Hose arrangement and positioning
Confused arrangement and positioning will cause hoses rub with each other and other equipment. Then, the protection layer will get hurt in the bending parts. Once this happened, there will be leakage, which will be more and more with the time goes on. To avoid such mass, you should make a arrangement plan.
